AWS re:Invent 2026: Where to Stay With Colleagues in Las Vegas
AWS re:Invent runs Monday, November 30 through Friday, December 4, 2026, across Caesars Forum, the Venetian, MGM Grand, Wynn and more. If you’re bringing a pod of engineers, a customer team or a partner crew, a private vacation home beats a scatter of hotel rooms: one kitchen for late breakfasts, real bedrooms for sleep after keynotes, and a living room where the day’s sessions can turn into a real debrief.
777 Rentals has hosted teams and large gatherings in Las Vegas since 2007. Here’s how to plan a re:Invent week around a private house, and which of our homes fit colleague trips best.
Why a private home works for re:Invent week
Conference week is early mornings, long days and late evenings. A private home gives your team:
- One base between venues. Sessions jump between campuses. Coming back to the same kitchen, Wi-Fi and living room keeps the crew coordinated without a hotel lobby meetup.
- Space to work and unwind. Every 777 Rentals home has Roku smart TVs in every bedroom and common area. Many have game rooms, yards or a casita so people who need quiet can separate from people who want to talk product.
- A kitchen that survives the week. Grab-and-go conference snacks add up. A full kitchen for coffee, leftovers and a team dinner mid-week is often the difference between a drained crew and a functional one.
- Room for mixed agendas. Not everyone has the same badge schedule. A home with multiple living areas or a guest house lets one subgroup head to a party while another finishes decks.
Homes that fit midsize and large teams
These 777 Rentals homes sit a short ride from the Strip corridor where most re:Invent venues cluster. Drive times vary with traffic; plan buffer on Monday morning and after popular evening events.
- Bowling Villa (about 3.6 miles from the center Strip): 11 bedrooms, 12 baths, sleeps 30. Private bowling alley with a spa beside it, indoor and outdoor basketball, a pool with optional natural-gas heat ($110 per night), three spas (two outdoors, one by the lanes), a steam room, pool table, foosball, ping pong, air hockey and a covered patio. A strong fit when the trip mixes conference days with team recreation at the house.
- West Strip Paradise (about 2.5 miles from the south Strip): 10 bedrooms, 7.5 baths, sleeps 30 on a full acre. A 6-bedroom main house plus a 4-bedroom casita with its own kitchen and living room means two squads can share a yard without sharing every hallway. Upstairs game room balcony with Strip views; pool and spa with optional propane heating ($250 per night for pool and spa, or $50 per night spa-only). Filming house for The Ultimate Fighter seasons 33 and 34.
- TUF House (about 1.8 miles from the south Strip): 11 bedrooms, 8.5 baths, sleeps 30, all on a single level on 2.5 private gated acres. Two full kitchens and two family rooms make it easy to split meal prep and evening hangouts. Private par-3 mini golf, a pool with optional propane heat ($250 per night, 3-night minimum), a free heated above-ground spa and Strip views from a gated cul-de-sac. The Ultimate Fighter Season 29 was filmed here.
- Southwest Castle (about 2.1 miles from the south Strip): 8 bedrooms, 6 baths, sleeps 24, with plenty of King and Queen beds, a pool with optional heat-pump heating ($110 per night), a free heated above-ground spa, shaded gazebo, pool table, ping pong, cornhole and ladder toss. A solid midsize-team pick close to the south Strip.
Want a resort-style reset after sessions?
Vegas Resort is about 4.8 miles from the south Strip and sleeps 21 in 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. The one-acre yard has a pool with optional natural-gas heat ($110 per night), a spa with free gas heating, 9-hole mini golf, pickleball and basketball, mini beach volleyball, a barrel sauna, a gas fire pit and a game room. A log cabin pool house adds a full kitchen and three bunk beds — useful when part of the team wants a quieter wing.
Sport Court Estate (about 2.8 miles from the center Strip) sleeps 30 in 7 bedrooms and 4 baths, with basketball, pickleball and badminton on a private sport court, a putting green, pool table, foosball and ping pong. The pool is not heated and there is no spa, so treat it as a daytime cool-off rather than a late-November soak.
Early-December weather and pool notes
Evenings after Thanksgiving in Las Vegas are often cool. A warm spa is usually the win after a long conference day; a warm pool takes more planning:
- Free spa heat is included at homes such as Bowling Villa (gas spa), TUF House (above-ground electric spa) and Vegas Resort (gas spa). See the Pool page for each home.
- Heat-pump pools (including Southwest Castle) can take several days to warm up, work poorly when outdoor temperatures are below about 50°F, and may not bring the water into the 70s when daytime outdoor temperatures are in the 70s or lower. Heat-pump pool-heat payments are nonrefundable even if the heat pump does not warm the pool to your satisfaction — ask us before you purchase.
- Gas- and propane-heated pools (Bowling Villa, West Strip Paradise, TUF House, Vegas Resort) are the better bet if swimming during re:Invent week matters to the team.

re:Invent colleague trip checklist
- Book dates early. Many teams check in Sunday, November 29 and check out Saturday, December 5, or tighten around Monday–Friday. See which homes are open →
- Match bedrooms to the roster. Count managers who want a King, pairs who share Queens, and anyone who needs a quieter casita or pool-house wing.
- Map venues before you pick a neighborhood. Our Events page lists AWS re:Invent alongside other November and early-December dates so you can stack concerts or sports if the trip extends.
- Ask about pool or spa heat early if evening soaks are part of the plan — especially for heat-pump homes.
- Plan one team dinner at the house. A mid-week meal in the kitchen beats fighting for a large reservation every night.
- Book direct. Found the same home on Airbnb or Vrbo? 777 Rentals will beat that price when you book direct on our site.
